Dr David Youssef is a Paediatric Cardiologist and Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Specialist, having completed training at The Stollery Children’s Hospital, Canada, in Paediatric Echocardiography, 3-Dimensional Imaging and Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension. During his medical training, he gained extensive experience at multiple hospitals, including Gold Coast, Prince Charles, Tweed Heads, Liverpool Hospital; as well as Sydney Children’s network, where he focused on Paediatric Cardiology training.
Dr Youssef also holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Sydney.
His special interests are:
- Paediatric congenital heart disease
- Echocardiogram and 3-Dimensional imaging
- Research into new and emerging therapy for Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension
- Providing medical school education at both the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales
He currently works as a staff specialist across The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network at both Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He is a conjoint lecturer at the University of NSW and a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney.
